Does my computer meet the system requirements for the new LOST game?

I thought it did but then I started playing and the game was really slow. Here are the stats:

Via Domus System Requirements:

Windows XP or Vista
2.5GHz Core 2 Duo / Athlon 64 X (or 3.5GHz Pentium 4/Athlon)
1GB of RAM (2GB recommended)
at least a 128MB DirectX 9.0c-compliant shader 3.0-enabled video card (256MB recommended)
5 GB of hard disk space
The supported cards are

ATI RADEON X1300-1950 / HD 2000 series,
nVidia Geforce 6600, 6800, 7xxx and 8xxx series.

My PC:

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center
Service pack 2
Dell XPS Intel V//V Pentium D CPU 2.80GHz
2.79GHz, 2.00 GB RAM

Doesn't this meet the requirements? Any ideas on how to make the game playable if I do meet the specs? If not can you tell me what needs to be upgraded to play the game smoothly? Thanks for any help!!
Video Card is the "Nvidia" brand.

Meeting a games minimum system requirements simply means you can run the game, not that you're going to fly thru it at high frame rates. Turn your settings down and turn your vsync off. If you want decent gaming buy a better video card.
