How Are You Feeling?

[Legacy Site Article - September 12, 2006]

So today is another day. Let me ask you a simple question: How are you feeling right now?

You see, the way you are feeling is an indicator of what you are in the process of creating. If you feel good, you are creating good things. If you feel bad, you are creating bad things. When you feel either good or bad, you are in effect magnetizing yourself to other things that are good or bad.

Ever had a day that started off wrong and only got worse? You know why? Because you started feeling bad, and the universe corresponded to that feeling and created more situations that would make you feel bad. The Law of Attraction states that you magnetize into your life those things which are in resonance with you. If you are putting out unhappy vibes, the universe will bring you more things to give you unhappy vibes. If you are putting out good vibes, the universe will bring you more things worthy of good vibes.

You see, the universe doesn’t care if you like something or not - it just creates according to your output. So the trick is to catch yourself when you begin to feel bad, and alter your mood so that you feel good. There are many easy ways to do this.

First of all, music can change a mood incredibly fast. Some people surround themselves with music that matches their mood, and in some cases this is great. If you are sad, however, and you play sad music, you are simply lending more of your energy to sadness, which will continue to be attracted to you. So play music that you would normally play when you are in a great mood. This will lift your spirits quickly.

Another way is to take a break from all of the stresses around you, close your eyes, and visualize yourself doing something you love, or being somewhere you love, or with somebody you love. Let your imagination run wild for awhile, and only imagine things that make you feel good. Think of moments in your life when you were extremely happy and replay them in your mind. This is another good way to shift your mood, and daydreaming can be accomplished almost anywhere at anytime!

Finally, you can always engage in an activity you enjoy. Play a sport, watch a TV-show, take a warm shower, or do anything that makes you feel better. Depending on where you are in the course of your day, this may or may not be practical.

The trick is that you want to change your mood as quickly as possible, because the energy you are holding is busy creating in the background of your reality. The worse you feel and the longer you feel that way, the more quickly you are manifesting more bad things. A good thought or emotion is much more powerful than many bad thoughts or feelings, so its easy to get yourself out of that mode and negate it before you ever have a chance to actually manifest something else negative into your day. Set your intent and give it a try!
